Global Food Security Conference convenes in Melbourne, Sept 2011

An esteemed group of international food safety and food microbiology experts is
gathering in Australia this September for a conference that seeks to confront the
vital challenge of securing food safety for all.
The 'Securing Global Food Safety' conference takes place 26-28 September 2011 at
The Sebel, Albert Park, Melbourne, Australia.
The event incorporates the 2nd International Association for Food Protection (IAFP)
Asia Pacific Symposium on Food Safety, and the 14th Australian Food Microbiology
Conference.
Presenters include a host of leading international and Australian food scientists,
public health professionals, sector regulators and key representatives from the food
industry. 
A comprehensive trade exhibit will provide attendees with an opportunity to see
latest technologies and applications in managing food safety.
Plenary sessions will reinforce the global impact of food safety into a global context,
while microbiological hazards updates will present valuable learnings from recent
case studies.
